Note: For models 1994 on, Peugeot specify increased service intervals of 9,000, 18,000, 36,000 and 72,000 miles (15,000, 30,000, 60,000 and 72,000 km). However, we still recommend cam belt renewal at 36,000 (58,000km).
Every 6,000 Miles (9,000 km) or 6 monthly
Renew engine oil

3. Front Brake Pads (if worn)
4. Transmission Fluid (Autos Only)
5. Power Steering Pump Belt* (if worn)
6. Alternator Drive Belt (if worn)

Renew oil filter
Check and top up Auto transmission fluid*
Check front brake pads for wear and renew if necessary
Check and adjust tension/replace auxilliary drive belts
Check for underbonnet fluid leaks
 
Every 12,000 Miles (18,000 km) or annually
In addition to the items in the 6,000 mile service:

Renew fuel filter
Check idle speed and mixture (Carburettor models only)
Clean the carburettor fuel filter*
Check, adjust and lubricate throttle cable
Check and adjust the clutch cable
Check rear brake shoes/pads for wear and renew if necessary
Check and adjust handbrake operation
Check power steering fluid level*
Check engine breather hoses
Check condition of driveshaft gaiters
Check condition of steering and suspension components
Check and unblock door and sill drain holes/channels
Lubricate hinges and locks
Check the air conditioning refrigerant*
 
Every 24,000 Miles (36,000 km) or 2 yearly
